Redbridge Equalities and Community Council is a Human Rights Charity that has been in existence for over 50 years.

Our Mission

Our aim is to eliminate all forms of discrimination and prejudice and promote equality, good relations and a harmonious community. Our organisation has grown considerably to fight not just racial discrimination but all types of discrimination as well as support much needed community development work.

What We've Achieved

Hate Crime is one of the most  complex and serious areas of our casework. The impact of hate crime on victims can last for years. We have achieve 97% user satisfaction rate in our hate crime casework. 

 

Outreach Advice Surgeries  are one of our most popular and high-demand services. We achieve over 98% user satisfaction rate in all our outreach advice complex cases.

Community Projects form a major part of what we do . We provide a wide range of activities and events which focus on developing  good relations, build and strengthen community cohesion, participation, engagement and civic pride and promote inclusion of marginalised groups. We achieve a  95 % user satisfaction rate in our Community projects.
